I first joined Morgan Stanley in Tokyo in 2004 18 working in the Equities Technology group focusing on scalability in the trade 19 processing plant. Throughout my career at Morgan, I’ve had the pleasure of 20 working alongside a lot of incredibly bright people on some very interesting and 21 challenging problems, mainly focusing on scalability, parallelism and system 22 architecture.
23
After being made the offer one sunny Kyoto morning, and giving it some serious 24 contemplation, I’ve accepted a position with Google in Mountain View, 25 California. While there’s no question I’ll miss working with all the 26 people who made my time at Morgan Stanley such an awesome experience, I’m 27 excited about joining Google, and looking forward to working on some tough and 28 interesting problems in a very unique environment.
29
30
31 32
33
